On 30–31 March 2026, the Fondazione LINKS hosted the first in-person partner meeting of the LEADER-CE project in Torino, Italy. This milestone event marked the official launch of our shared mission to drive the digital transformation of the social economy across Central European regions.
Following initial online exchanges, representatives from five partner organizations from Italy, Czechia, Slovakia, and Croatia finally had the opportunity to discuss strategic project steps face-to-face. The primary goal of the meeting was to align strategies for overcoming the digital gap between urban and rural areas and to support social enterprises in their growth.
Key Highlights of the Agenda:
- Strategic Planning: Partners conducted a detailed review of project milestones and established the methodology for the upcoming survey on the digital needs of social enterprises in pilot territories.
- Technological Inspiration: The meeting included a visit to the LINKS XR Lab, where participants explored the practical application of modern digital tools.
- Capacity Building: Work sessions were held to prepare the training program and methodology for creating “Digital Roadmaps,” aimed at supporting approximately 200 enterprises across the regions.
- Sharing Best Practices: The program featured a study visit to a specific social enterprise that has already successfully implemented a digital plan, providing valuable inspiration for future pilot activities.
This two-day gathering in Torino laid a solid foundation for international cooperation. In the coming months, this partnership will deliver practical support, mentoring, and a joint Action Plan for the digital transformation of the social economy in Central Europe.
