A formal presentation of the guide on disaster preparedness – conducted for municipalities as part of the Interreg Central Europe LOCALIENCE project – took place in the Ceremonial Hall of the Vas County Hall.

At the ceremony, Dr. Balázs Bognár, Brigade Brigadier General and Director of the Vas County Disaster Management Directorate, was the first to address the invited county leaders, heads of law enforcement agencies, chairs of local defense committees, and municipal public safety officers.

Captain Dr. Attila Ádám Nagy spoke about the goals and achievements of the Interreg Central Europe LOCALIENCE project in the framework of cross-border cooperation.

Lieutenant General Péter Kiss, the project manager, presented the guide prepared for the handover ceremony as one of the project’s outcomes to the attendees during his presentation.

Following the presentations, Dr. Balázs Bognár, Fire Brigade Brigadier General and Director of the Vas County Disaster Management Directorate, donated the guide to the public safety officers representing the municipalities.
