GreenScape CE Final Conference

Date: 05.02.2026
Building Resilient Cities through Nature-based Solutions

5 February 2026 | 09:00 – 14:00

Brussels

After 30 months of intensive collaboration, pilot implementation, and tool development across Central Europe, the GreenScape CE project will conclude with a high-level final conference in Brussels. This half-day event will serve as both a closing milestone and a forward-looking platform for dialogue on the future of nature-based solutions in urban contexts.

The event will bring together project partners, EU institutions, policy networks, city representatives, and civil society actors. It will highlight the project’s achievements in mainstreaming green infrastructure across five pilot cities- Milan, Ptuj, Szeged, Warsaw, and Zagreb – and will provide a space to reflect on lessons learned, policy implications, and opportunities for replication.

Participants can expect a rich programme including keynote addresses on climate resilience, thematic roundtables, and an interactive virtual field visit to the pilot sites. The event will also showcase innovative tools and approaches developed throughout the project, designed to support cities in planning, financing, and co-creating green infrastructure.

A networking lunch and exhibition area will complement the plenary sessions, offering opportunities for informal exchange and stakeholder engagement. The conference aims to leave a legacy of knowledge, collaboration, and practical resources that cities and regions across Europe can continue to build upon.

Further details, including the full agenda and registration link, will be shared soon.
