The GREENE 4.0 Transnational Conference took place on 5 September 2024 in Portorož, Slovenia, as part of the 7th International Conference on Technologies and Business Models for Circular Economy (TBMCE 2024). The event brought together companies, research organisations, educational institutions and other innovation stakeholders to exchange knowledge and discuss the latest developments in green and digital transformation and the circular economy.

The conference featured expert presentations on sustainable manufacturing, technological innovation and circular economy approaches. As part of the programme, the GREENE 4.0 project presented two of its key results: the User Acceptance Model (UAM), supporting manufacturing SMEs in their green and digital transition, and the B2GreenHub platform, which connects companies with tools, services and collaboration opportunities for innovation.

By bringing together industry, research and innovation support organisations, the conference promoted knowledge exchange, networking and cross-sector collaboration, contributing to the wider dissemination and uptake of the project’s results across Central Europe.
