Many institutions view green public procurement as difficult and costly. However, the effective implementation of GPP can begin with simple, practical steps — without the need for an organisational overhaul.
The training will cover the key benefits of green public procurement, including:
reducing emissions, cutting waste and improving air quality, lower costs in the long term, greater innovation and higher quality of procured products and services,
support for local businesses operating in the green solutions sector, compliance with European Union regulations and the opportunity to access EU funds, improved image of public institutions and tangible action for the future of the environment.
Participants will also learn about the Development Loan, a funding instrument for local government investments, and find out how to secure funding for municipal development – from infrastructure and energy efficiency to green investments and local projects.
Organiser: Mazovia Development Agency S.A.
The meeting is part of the INTERREG-CE-PRINCE Project – green PRocurement and Innovation Network for Circular Economy, implemented under the Interreg Central Europe Programme.
