This week, the Municipality of Klis welcomed a delegation from Lozuvatka, Ukraine, as part of the international Pathways of Partnership Project and its Shadowing Program.
The visit was more than an exchange of experiences — it was a practical bridge between two communities at very different stages of their European journey. With Ukrainian local governments preparing to access EU pre-accession funds, Klis shared what it has learned the hard way: how to structure a project, navigate EU funding mechanisms, and turn cooperation into concrete local development.
Among the examples presented, Green LaMiS took centre stage — as a case study in what international cooperation can look like when it is grounded in real local needs and built on genuine partnership across five countries.
We are proud that Klis is not only implementing green mobility solutions for its social services, but is now sharing that experience to help others take their first steps into European cooperation.
Because the value of what we build together multiplies when we share it.
