Organised by ASE Technology Group, the conference brought together representatives of regional government, industry, ports, financial institutions and technology providers.

- hydrogen, methanol, biofuels and synthetic fuels;
- decarbonisation strategies for businesses;
- green energy for transport and maritime industries;
- environmental and legal requirements;
- financing and energy-cost optimisation;
- operational, cyber and investment risks.
Main results
The conference placed individual technologies within the wider transformation of Pomerania’s economy. It connected planned energy investments with the needs of industrial companies, ports and transport operators.
The discussions demonstrated that business decarbonisation required coordinated action across several areas:
- access to suitable low-emission energy;
- commercially viable technologies;
- financing and risk management;
- compliance with environmental and safety requirements;
- cooperation between public authorities and private investors.
Practical value
For regional authorities and businesses, the event provided a useful example of how energy-transition planning could combine regional infrastructure priorities with the practical needs of energy users. It also showed why hydrogen and derived fuels had to be assessed alongside renewable electricity, energy efficiency and other decarbonisation options.
