From Portion Sizes to Food Redistribution: International Perspectives on food waste prevention in schools

On October 3rd the foodCIRCUS consortium will host a transnational workshop bringing together experts from science, ministries, schools and catering companies.
The event will focus on portion sizes in school meals and the redistribution of surplus food while offering space for discussion and the joint development of practical, viable solutions.
Participants from all partner countries of the foodCIRCUS project will share experiences and explore how schools can combine healthy eating with sustainability.
The event is organised in a hybrid form, so you can join us online!

 

 

The event will be opened by Jan den Boer  at 10:00 and the project leader Gudrun Obersteiner will give an introduction of foodCIRCUS at 10:15.
