Our session Interreg Solutions for Local Challenges: How Cooperation Supports Peripheral and Border Regions in Central Europe is an interactive talk.

The socio-economic vitality of central Europe depends on the strength of its peripheral regions. Join our interactive talk at EURegions Week to explore how Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE tackles long-term structural disadvantages through targeted transnational cooperation.

In this Interactive Talk session at the EURegionsweek, we present two complementary support mechanisms: the small-scale projects targeting the specific needs of peripheral and lagging areas, and the strategic projects for capitalisation tackling border issues in synergy with cross-border projects. Join us to discover concrete examples and discuss why enabling the “right to stay” is essential for building resilience and fostering a more balanced, prosperous central Europe.

Secondly, we support one of the debates on the future of cooperation, as we are contributing our expertise to another Interactive Session:

A Dialogue for Enhanced Cross-Border Cooperation to Shape the BRIDGEforEU Regulation.

How can we make life easier in border regions — for people, administrations, and businesses?

Together with others, we’ll explore how b-solutions, Interreg, and ISO 1 projects can help set up effective Cross-Border Coordination Points — connecting real experiences with future ideas for cooperation beyond 2027..

Throughout the event, you can also visit us at our transnational EURegionsWeek stand to discover some of the most impactful Interreg projects across Europe — and meet the people behind them.

Participatory lab, initiated by the NICE project, brings together policymakers, urban practitioners, and experts to explore how to mainstream circular urban lifestyles and track their impact.

As circular economy governance gains momentum, policymaking must keep pace with effective tools, indicators, and inclusive policies that support sustainable consumption.

The session will conclude with an interactive Knowledge Café, where participants can share experiences, discuss challenges, and identify best practices.
