Communicating Circular Procurement Impacts in Practice in Slovenia

In Person
Location: Ljubljana, Slovenia
Date: 06.05.2026
The Chamber of Construction and Building Materials Industry of Slovenia (CCIS) and the Chamber of Real Estate Business (ZPN), within the CE-PRINCE project (Interreg Central Europe), invite you to a specialised in-person training titled “Communicating Circular Public Procurement Impacts: From Data to Trust”, taking place on 6 May 2026 in Ljubljana.

The training is designed for public procurers, including representatives of ministries, municipalities, housing funds and other contracting authorities responsible for construction and infrastructure investments.

As circular and green public procurement becomes increasingly important, the ability to measure and communicate its impacts is emerging as a key challenge. This training focuses on bridging the gap between implementation and communication by providing practical tools and approaches for demonstrating the added value of circular criteria in public procurement.

Participants will gain insights into:

  • how to define and apply relevant indicators for circular and low-carbon construction,
  • how to link procurement criteria with measurable environmental and economic outcomes,
  • how lifecycle approaches (LCA, LCC) support impact evaluation,
  • how to communicate results transparently to decision-makers, stakeholders and the public,
  • how to strengthen trust through data-driven procurement practices.

The event is structured as an interactive workshop with a limited number of participants (up to 20), allowing for in-depth discussion, exchange of experiences and direct engagement with experts.

The training is delivered in cooperation with legal experts from Potočnik and Partners Law Firm, who will provide practical guidance on aligning communication of impacts with legal requirements and procurement procedures.

This event is part of a broader series of capacity-building activities under the CE-PRINCE project, aimed at strengthening cooperation between public authorities and the private sector, improving procurement practices and accelerating the transition towards circular construction.

Participation is free of charge.
