Marshal Całbecki also shared the experience of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region, which has operated a biogas plant in Lisków for years, plans a new installation in Bydgoszcz and cooperates with several private biogas producers. The region is developing a biomethane system based on collaboration between farmers, researchers and the energy sector.
He emphasized the region’s participation in the EU project TeBiCE – Territorial Biorefineries for Circular Economy, carried out with partners from six EU countries.

The event was organised by the European Parliament, the European People’s Party, and Portugal’s Floene Energias, and hosted by MEPs Paulo do Nascimento Cabral and Paulo Cunha. Photo – Mieszko Matusiak
