The role of communities in sustainability is fundamental, as true sustainability at the national, regional, or global level can only be achieved if it is also realized in everyday life — in our personal lives, within families, and in local communities.
At our conference, we aim to explore how renewable organic materials derived from living organisms — collectively known as biomass — such as plant-based materials, tree residues, food waste, and organic manure, can help us make our everyday lives more sustainable.
Our event is intended for curious individuals who enjoy experimenting, who are seeking hope and a way forward in today’s challenges, and who wish to actively contribute to change — whether quietly or in a more visible manner.
In addition to professional presentations and best practices, several exhibitors from the international exhibition area will also give talks, sharing how the concept of a biomass-based economy is integrated into their operations, and what innovations and initiatives they are using to support sustainability.
