A new step forward for the TeBiCE Territorial Biorefineries project, co-funded by the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme, which took us to Nitra, Slovakia, for a meeting and study visit dedicated to the circular bioeconomy and the value of local supply chains.

During the day’s work hosted by the Slovak University of Agriculture, together with our project partners, we analyzed the technical and managerial progress of TeBiCE and discussed the next operational steps for the implementation of the pilot activities. In the afternoon, we visited the headquarters of the 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐬.𝐫.𝐨. 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐦, 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐣𝐤𝐚, where we were able to take a close look at the hemp processing 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐤 𝐇𝐞𝐦𝐩 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫: a virtuous model of biomass recovery that combines innovation, sustainability, and territorial cooperation.

This activity strengthens the link between research and business, promoting the exchange of experiences, and fits well with the path we are pursuing with other European projects such as REUSE2030, where innovation and sustainability are the keys to building a more resilient and inclusive future. Thanks to the lead partner Veneto Agricoltura and all the international partners for their ongoing discussion and collaboration. 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐬.
