On 22 October 2026, a thematic meeting dedicated to energy transition in Interreg projects took place at the headquarters of the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy in Warsaw. The event provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, present developed solutions and discuss good practices in this field.
During the meeting, Polish partners representing 30 projects implemented under six Interreg programmes (Poland-Saxony, South Baltic, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern/Brandenburg-Poland, Baltic Sea Region, Central Europe and Europe) presented the results of their activities.

An important part of the meeting was also a presentation by representatives of the Ministry of Energy, who shared their experience of international cooperation in the energy sector and discussed strategic directions for the energy transition.
The meeting concluded with a discussion providing an opportunity to exchange good practices and lessons learned from the initiatives presented.
