The report summarises the first analytical step of the project, focused on identifying SMEs operating in key manufacturing and technology-related sectors in the 3 partner regions: Lower Ferrara in Italy, the Wałbrzych area in Poland and Vas County in Hungary.
Altogether, 94 companies were mapped across the 3 regions. The report presents the common methodology used by all partners, the first data check and initial interpretation of the regional mappings. It also supports the selection of SMEs that may be involved in the next project activities, including surveys, interviews, workshops, training-related cooperation and pilot actions.
The mapping is not a general inventory of companies. It is a practical project tool that helps the partnership better understand regional SME ecosystems, identify companies relevant to skills development, digitalisation, automation, robotics and technical training, and prepare the next steps of INNOSKILLS-CE.
