Technology and strategy only travel as far as the people who know how to use them. That is the starting point for Green LaMiS’s Capacity Building Toolkit (Deliverable D.3.1.1), developed under Work Package 3 to equip municipal technical staff, social enterprise coordinators and local practitioners with the practical skills needed to plan, monitor and sustain greener home care mobility well beyond the life of the project.
The toolkit builds on everything tested in the three pilot cities — the shared carbon footprint methodology, the innovation indicators, and the real operational choices made in Bergamo, Szombathely and Klis — and translates it into accessible training materials and guidance for people who may be approaching these topics for the first time. The free three-module online course held on 10 September 2026, open to citizens, administrations and local stakeholders across the three countries, is one concrete expression of this same capacity-building effort.
The goal is straightforward: make sure the knowledge generated by Green LaMiS does not stay locked inside the project, but becomes a resource that other municipalities across Central Europe can pick up and use on their own.
