Gablini Automotive Group is also proud to be the first automotive dealership in Hungary where this bidirectional charging technology is already operational in real-life conditions.
During the testing campaign, Daniel worked with multiple EV platforms including:
Kia EV9, Hyundai Ioniq 6, Peugeot e-3008, Nissan Ariya, Nissan Micra, Omoda 9, NIO ET7, and Hyundai Kona.
The most interesting takeaway?
The charging infrastructure is already largely ready for bidirectional energy flow, but vehicle software ecosystems are still catching up.
In several cases, Daniel was able to successfully establish communication and even initiate energy discharge back to the grid or home. However, many sessions were limited or interrupted by vehicle-side software restrictions rather than charger hardware limitations.
This clearly shows that the future of V2G is no longer theoretical. The technology already works. The next major step will be OEM software enablement and ecosystem harmonization.
It is incredibly exciting to see this transition happening in real life, not only in laboratories or presentations.
And this is only the beginning.
