At NEXT BUILT 2026, held in Bologna on 4 – 5 June 2026, the SuPeRBE team presented “Interconnection of Building- and Neighbourhood-Level Resilience (RBTool and RNTool): Insights from Prague Case Study.” The presentation focused on the application of the newly developed RBTool-CE and RNTool-CE frameworks at building and neighbourhood scales. The Prague pilot case was used to explore how climate adaptation interventions at one scale can influence and reinforce resilience outcomes at another.
The conference brought together experts working on key challenges shaping the future of the built environment, including climate adaptation, affordable housing, circular construction, liveability and health, and innovative approaches to construction.
SuPeRBE results were further presented at ICONHIC 2026 – International Conference on Natural Hazards and Infrastructure, held from 29 June to 2 July 2026. Two presentations showcased the project’s work on climate adaptation and resilience assessment:
- “Contextualization of the RBE-CE method: the Multi-Scale Assessment and Decision Support tools for Climate Adaptation tested in five pilot areas”
- “Localising Global Resilience: Integrating Hazard Assessment and Climate Adaptation into SBToolCZ and Regional Innovation Projects”
The presentations highlighted the contextualisation of the RBE-CE method and the application of multi-scale assessment and decision-support tools across five SuPeRBE pilot areas in Central Europe. They also addressed the integration of hazard assessment and climate adaptation approaches into existing assessment frameworks and regional innovation processes.
Participation in both conferences provided valuable opportunities to exchange knowledge with researchers and practitioners working on climate resilience, natural hazards and sustainable development, while also strengthening the dissemination of SuPeRBE’s results and methodological approaches.
