redesigning SUstaiNable mobility FLOWs and functional linkages beyond bordERs across Central Europe

People living in border regions often struggle to reach nearby towns, jobs and services because transport networks stop at national borders or do not connect well with rural areas. SUNFLOWER4CE adapts solutions from earlier Interreg projects to help neighbouring regions plan services together. Five border areas will test how regular public transport can be combined with flexible services that run when and where passengers need them. A practical toolkit and open-source digital tools will help authorities and operators improve connections and apply the approach elsewhere.
