The program focused on the restoration of urban waterways using nature-based solutions (NBS) and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Participants shared examples of best practices from their home countries—including Germany, Poland, Colombia, India, the U.S., and others—thereby providing inspiration for the sustainable restoration of urban rivers.
Working in international teams, the students developed proposals for the revitalization of the Klíšský Stream in Ústí nad Labem, applying the knowledge and experience they had gained during the summer school.
The event concluded with a public presentation of the students’ proposals.

UJEP byla hostitelem mezinárodní letní školy „Urban River Restoration“, které se zúčastnili studenti z Evropy, Asie, Severní Ameriky a Jižní Ameriky.
Program se zaměřil na renaturaci městských vodních toků s využitím přírodních řešení (NBS) a mezioborové spolupráce.
Účastníci si vyměnili příklady osvědčených postupů ze svých domovských zemí – mimo jiné z Německa, Polska, Kolumbie, Indie, USA a dalších – a poskytli tak podněty pro udržitelnou renaturaci městských řek.
V mezinárodních týmech vypracovali studenti návrhy na revitalizaci Klíšského potoka v Ústí nad Labem, přičemž využili znalosti a zkušenosti získané během letní školy.
Akce byla zakončena veřejnou prezentací návrhů studentů.
