The Fact Sheets provide a comprehensive overview of the public mobility systems in our three partner regions and summarise the current regional mobility frameworks and supply structures at both administrative and service provider level. They highlight existing capacities, specific challenges, unmet needs, untapped ideas for change and opportunities for innovation in each region.
The documents are the result of close transnational cooperation. The project partners jointly prepared the structure of the document, the introduction and concluding chapter, while each regional partner contributed the detailed analysis of its respective region. This combination of a shared framework and regional expertise enables both a structured comparison and a better understanding of local conditions.
By combining regional knowledge with transnational exchange, the partnership has taken an important first step towards developing mobility solutions that respond to local needs while benefiting from shared European experience. The Regional Fact Sheets will now serve as an important foundation for the project’s next activities. Their findings will support the work of the newly appointed mobility managers, inform citizen participation processes and contribute to the development of the upcoming Pilot Demonstration Sites for demand-responsive public transport services.
