On 16–17 June 2026, the Pannon Future Forest partnership held its partner meeting in Murska Sobota, Slovenia, focusing on the Valorisation Strategy, the future Mentor Network, road-show events and the preparation of the project hackathon.
A key part of the programme was the study visit, during which the team also explored the Expano pavilion and learned about Slovenian good practices linked to start-up support, local development and forest-based green economy opportunities. The visit included the presentation of the PONI programme for start-ups, as well as two inspiring local examples: Hiša GIBANICE and Bukovniško jezero.
The meeting helped partners align the next steps of the project and further strengthen cooperation around innovative, sustainable and forest-based business opportunities in Central Europe.
