The fourth edition of the GreenPATH Newsletter is now available, bringing together the latest achievements, pilot activities and knowledge developed by the project partnership as GreenPATH enters its final implementation phase.

Across Central Europe, partners continue to transform ideas into concrete solutions that promote healthier and more sustainable commuting for workers and students. Through pilot actions, promotional campaigns, research activities and knowledge exchange, GreenPATH is demonstrating how collaboration can support behavioural change and accelerate the transition towards more sustainable mobility systems.

This new edition highlights the progress achieved following the 5th Steering Committee Meeting held in Kecskemét, Hungary, where partners reviewed the implementation of pilot actions, discussed data-driven mobility planning and explored strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability and transferability of project results.

Readers will also discover inspiring examples of GreenPATH promotional campaigns implemented across the partnership:

  • Monza is encouraging citizens to rediscover cycling through practical workshops addressing everyday barriers to bike commuting.
  • Technische Universität Berlin is promoting active mobility through co-design workshops and the inauguration of a new bicycle repair station at the EUREF Campus.
  • BOKU University in Vienna successfully engaged students through the Bike2BOKU campaign, combining challenges, awareness activities and digital tools.
  • University of Maribor continues to motivate employees to cycle to work through its “Bike to Work” campaign and practical recommendations for active commuting.
  • Ravenna has launched new electric corporate sharing services in the Port of Ravenna, providing workers with more flexible and sustainable commuting options.

The newsletter also showcases GreenPATH’s contribution to research and innovation. It features the presentation of the project at REAL CORP 2026, where new findings on stakeholder engagement and user perception in sustainable mobility management were shared, as well as a new publication by project partner Mobilissimus exploring the role of Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) in creating more flexible and accessible mobility services.

As the project moves towards its final months, these activities demonstrate the value of transnational cooperation in developing practical, people-centred mobility solutions that can be replicated across Functional Urban Areas in Central Europe.
