As part of preparing data collection for its Digital Twin, BLUETWIN-CE has licensed the EQ-5D-5L – a well-established, internationally validated instrument for measuring health-related quality of life, developed by the EuroQol Research Foundation. Licensed in Slovenian, Slovak, Italian and English, it lets residents rate their own health across everyday areas, from mobility and self-care to how they feel, together with an overall health rating. The data will form the health layer of the project’s Digital Twin, informing a Blue Zone-inspired governance model for healthy ageing in the pilot areas of Beltinci (SI), Svidník (SK) and Montegrotto Terme (IT).
