On April 28th, CRedi4ce’s partner, Poznań Science and Technology Park, hosted a training session for SMEs entitled “Green Financing and Carbon Footprint in the Company”.
10 participants from different companies gathered to explore three key topics:
- Green and blue infrastructure and biodiversity as a business asset
- Carbon footprint measurement across Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
- Green financing instruments — from EU Taxonomy to eco-credit opportunities
One of the highlights of the session was the hands-on use of the CRedi4ce carbon footprint calculator, available on our project website. Participants had the chance to apply it directly to their own business context, turning theory into practical understanding of their company’s environmental impact.
The diversity of companies in the room reflected a growing awareness among SMEs: the green transition is no longer just a compliance matter — it’s a strategic opportunity. From reducing operational costs to unlocking preferential financing, sustainability and business performance go hand in hand.
