It focuses on rural and peripheral areas, where young people often have limited access to modern vocational training, and companies struggle to find workers with the right technical and digital skills. The project helps reduce the gap between what schools teach and what employers need, while also supporting young people in developing skills for modern manufacturing and technology.
The partnership includes SIPRO Ferrara Development Agency in Italy as the Lead Partner, Pannon Business Network Association in Hungary, and the Walbrzych Region Fund in Poland. Activities take place in three regions: the inland area of Lower Ferrara in Italy, the Walbrzych region in Poland, and Vas County in Hungary.
In practice, the project maps small and medium-sized enterprises and their skills needs, works with vocational schools to review curricula, and develops and tests immersive training solutions based on augmented reality and virtual reality, together with a digital Learning Management System platform. The results include a joint training strategy, a package of training solutions and content, pilot testing in partner schools, and a shared platform for learning materials and continuous training.
