On March 11, 2026, representatives from the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA) participated in the networking event “Grants & Startups: What public funding makes sense?” held at the Slovak Centre of Scientific and Technical Information in Bratislava.
The event gathered more than 100 startup founders, investors, and innovation experts to examine how public funding fuels the growth of technology companies. Through expert panels and interactive consultation sessions, participants explored strategies for combining grants with private investment and navigating funding opportunities at various stages of development.
During the networking and consultation sessions, SIEA experts actively engaged with startups, providing practical guidance on funding instruments. Importantly, SIEA also used this opportunity to promote the CREDIT4CE Accelerator programme, highlighting its support for ClimateTech startups aiming to scale their innovations and access international markets.
The event reaffirmed the importance of collaboration across the innovation ecosystem and demonstrated that well-designed public funding can serve as a key catalyst for startup growth and technological advancement.
