As part of the INNOSKILLS-CE project, we launched cooperation with the INVEST in EDU and running by Cluster INNOVATION PARK Training Center. which brings extensive experience in aligning education with the needs of modern industry. Its facilities, including VR and AR simulators as well as robotics and automation solutions, support activities focused on skills analysis and the development of modern learning methods.
At the heart of the cluster’s work is a simple principle: schools should educate students in a way that prepares graduates for employment in modern industry. To achieve this, constant dialogue with businesses is essential.
INVEST in EDU connects companies operating in the economic zone with educational institutions. This allows schools to better understand which skills are currently in demand, while giving businesses a real voice in shaping educational pathways. The cluster also supports career counsellors, teachers and HR departments. It helps design career paths, promotes technical education and drives educational initiatives forward.
The cluster organises and supports competitions aimed at developing technical skills. It also assists pupils and students through awards and scholarships. At the same time, it plays an advisory role in the creation of new educational programmes and in efforts to improve the quality of education across the region.
Cluster representatives take part, among others, in the Regional Coordination Team and the Council of the Sectoral Skills Centre in Wałbrzych.
One of the cluster’s flagship initiatives is the INNOVATION PARK Training Centre in Wałbrzych, launched in 2023. It is a modern facility that demonstrates what technical education should look like in practice.
The centre was financed by WSSE INVEST-PARK and is operated by the INVEST in EDU Cluster. Its equipment includes VR and AR simulators, robotics and industrial automation stations, electronics workstations, 3D printers and a model industrial line for employee training.
The centre’s activities are aimed at primary and secondary school students, university students, teachers and career counsellors. It also hosts training sessions and meetings for entrepreneurs.
