On Thursday, March 26, 2026, Practical Seminar on Blue-Green Infrastructure (BGI) and Rainwater Management in České Budějovice took place at the City Hall in České Budějovice (in Czech).
The practical seminar and workshop loosely followed the regular basic seminar of the We Count on Water project. Its aim was to create a space for sharing specific approaches and problems that participants encounter when integrating blue-green infrastructure in their localities.
The seminar consisted of a theoretical part, which included building regulations and specific applications (BGI), followed by a practical part, where BGI in České Budějovice and examples of specific projects were presented. The CONE project was also presented in the practical part of seminar.
The seminar ended with a discussion workshop on specific approaches and problems with integrating blue-green infrastructure. The seminar was attended by representatives of state administration, experts and representatives of non-profit organizations.
