Mr. Paolo Lunardi from ZAILOG presented the results of the curbside management pilot action developed in the Verona Functional Urban Area in the framework of the GRETA project. Namely they created a new smart system to improve management of the loading bays parking slots within the Verona city centre. This solution was implemented thanks to the use of a disruptive technology such as the LoRaWAN connection, and the installation of hundreds of paved sensors across the city, that were the main elements for the development of a new dedicated mobile app, to be used by the drivers to book the loading bays. The curbside management solution implemented by ZAILOG, togewther with the Municipality of Verona, Municipia and AMT3, was an enable for a greener and smarter Last mile Delivery in the city, and it will be further developed after the end of the GRETA project given the positive results of the testings.

On the other hand the DISCO project, presented a set of data-driven, integrated, synchromodal, collaborative and optimised urban freight solutions, obtained through the development of a federated digital platform for urban freight data sharing, enabling city planners to optimise freight flows within city areas and Functional Urban Areas (FUAs). Moreover, the Interreg North Sea MoLo Hubs project showcased the integration of people-centric mobility hubs with smart logistics services to reduce urban traffic and emissions, thereby making cities more liveable.

In conclusion, the Scandria Alliance Talk was an interesting moment to further spread the very positive outputs of the GRETA project.
