CREDIT4CE invites SMEs to join fully funded international study visits on decarbonisation and energy efficiency

Open Call: Complimentary International Study Visits for SMEs

CREDIT4CE invites small and medium-sized enterprises to participate in international study visits focused on decarbonisation, energy efficiency, and enhancing SME resilience and competitiveness in Central Europe.

The project connects experts and organisations from Slovakia, Croatia, Austria, and Italy, offering companies access to expertise, best practices, and technological solutions to support energy and industrial transition.

About the study visits

CREDIT4CE partners will cover transport and accommodation costs for participants and manage all logistics for the study visits.

Six in-person study visits will be organised in various European Union countries between April and October 2026.

Each visit allows participants to explore advanced technologies, innovation centres, and practical solutions to reduce emissions and improve energy efficiency. Companies will also have opportunities to connect with international partners, research organisations, and other SMEs.

A single application form applies to all visits. Companies should indicate their preferred travel dates, and organisers will match applications to available places where possible.

First study visit – Weiz, Austria (24 April 2026)

The first study visit will take place on 24 April 2026 in Weiz, Austria, within an innovation ecosystem that includes:

· W.E.I.Z. Forschungs & Entwicklungs gGmbH – innovative solutions in mobility and energy,

· Wood Vision Lab GmbH – research on wood as a lightweight material,

· Joanneum Research – research activities and demonstration technologies.

Participants will be able to:

· Visit the Weiz Innovation Centre to see implemented energy systems, including a Li-Ion storage unit, PV installations, heat pumps, a direct line, smart monitoring, and an energy community,

· Take part in the major Austrian event “Long Night of Research”,

· Meet various organisations presenting their activities and technologies,

· Receive expert support and English-language interpretation throughout the visit.

Who can apply?

· Small and medium-sized enterprises from Poland,

· Companies interested in energy efficiency, renewable energy, digitalisation, new materials, industrial innovation, or sustainable development,

· SMEs are seeking practical solutions to reduce emissions and increase competitiveness.
