Motivated by several ongoing projects, the Energieinstitut an der JKU Linz is organizing the Linz District Heating Forum on March 17–18, 2026, at Johannes Kepler University Linz. The first edition will focus on “Heat Highways”, large-scale heat storage, and industrial symbiosis for waste heat–to–district heating projects.
The forum aims to:
- Transfer knowledge between applied research and district heating practice
- Foster networking among actors from specific fields of district heating
- Disseminate project results
- Connect key stakeholders
