Zsolt Keresztúri, Cluster Manager of the Innoskart Digital Cluster, presented the background and objectives of the VReduMED project and highlighted the key milestones achieved during its implementation.
The following presentation was given by a representative of Széchenyi István University’s Digital Development Center -one of the project partners’-, who introduced the technological aspects of the project and the innovative VR-based solutions developed for healthcare education.
Opportunities for VR in Healthcare Education
During the next session, Gyöngyvér Vitéz, CEO of SkillDict Plc., presented the opportunities offered by virtual reality in the education and training of healthcare professionals.
She also introduced the VReduMED Handbook, which summarizes the knowledge and experience gained during the project and provides practical guidance on the use of VR technologies in healthcare training environments.
Networking and Knowledge Exchange
The formal presentations were followed by a networking session accompanied by a snack lunch. This informal part of the program allowed participants to exchange ideas, discuss their experiences, and explore potential collaborations in the field of VR-based healthcare education.
The stakeholder event successfully demonstrated how innovative digital technologies such as virtual reality can support modern and effective training methods in the healthcare sector. It also contributed to strengthening cooperation among project partners and stakeholders while promoting the wider adoption of VR solutions in medical education.
