Date: 17.03.2026 - 19.03.2026

The European Carbon Farming Summit 2026 will take place from 17 to 19 March at the Padova Congress Centre in Padua, Italy. The event represents one of the main European forums dedicated to carbon farming and the development of robust climate actions in the agricultural sector.

The summit will bring together farmers, policymakers, researchers and market actors to discuss key aspects related to carbon farming practices, certification standards and monitoring systems. The programme is structured around three main thematic areas: agricultural practices for European soils, quality criteria and certification mechanisms, and methodologies for monitoring carbon fluxes through harmonised data and emerging technologies.

The summit is organised in collaboration with a broad network of European institutions and research bodies, including the Italian Council for Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA), lead partner of the AGRI-DIGITAL GROWTH project.

For the project, the summit represents an opportunity for presentation and exchange within the broader European discussion on digital competences and data-driven monitoring in sustainable agriculture. The AGRI-DIGITAL GROWTH project will be represented by Fondazione FENICE, one of its partners.
