Agri-Digital Growth to be presented at the EU CAP Network workshop in Valencia on January 28

Date: 19.01.2026

The EU CAP Network workshop “Sensing the future: practical applications of proximal and remote sensing for farmers and advisors” will take place in Valencia, Spain on the 28th of January. Conceived as a setting for the exchange of practical knowledge, the event offers a European forum where innovators and researchers meet to discuss the adoption of these tools and the gradual construction of trust in their use, in dialogue with farmers, foresters and advisors.

In this context, Agri-Digital Growth, will be presented as an initiative contributing to the discussion on skills, knowledge transfer and digital transformation in agriculture.

The Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE) and the University of Maribor, Slovenia will also take part in the event as partners of Agri-Digital Growth.  In Valencia they will present the work carried out so far and the Living Lab activities that are about to be launched, centered on the use of proximal sensing and drone technologies.

The workshop will further feature contributions from 28DIGITAL, which will also present Farm360Tech, an initiative that develops and tests integrated digital solutions for agriculture by combining UAVs, IoT sensors, AI-driven analytics and digital platforms through Living System Demonstrators.

The workshop will offer a space where collaboration and knowledge exchange across EU-funded projects come to life, and where hands-on testing, practical training, and active stakeholder engagement illuminate how precision agriculture tools can be more widely adopted, supporting sustainable, data-driven decision-making across European farming systems.
