The Social and Solidarity Economy in Central Europe: From a Shared Strategy to a Transnational Network of Regions

24 March 2026 | 09:00 – 14:00
Brussels and Online

The 3P4SSE project will conclude with a high-level final conference in Brussels, marking a key milestone in the project’s efforts to strengthen the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) through public–private–social partnerships and territorial cooperation across Central Europe.

This half-day event will serve both as a moment to present the project’s main results and as a forward-looking platform for dialogue on the future of SSE in the context of EU Cohesion Policy and regional development. The conference will bring together EU institutions, regional and local authorities, SSE practitioners, researchers, civil society organisations, and policy networks.

The event will showcase the outcomes of transnational cooperation, including the Joint Strategy for strengthening SSE, the five regional pilot actions, and the development of concrete tools such as the IT knowledge and services sharing platform and the joint SSE curriculum. A key highlight of the conference will be the official launch of the European SSE Network, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding among project partners and stakeholders.

Participants can expect a rich programme featuring opening policy perspectives, presentations of project results, and a high-level interactive roundtable entitled “From Pilots to Policy: What’s Next for SSE in Europe?”, focusing on how regional experiences can inform EU-level strategies and address territorial needs and gaps.

The conference will conclude with closing reflections on sustainability, replicability, and long-term impact, followed by a networking lunch and parallel dissemination activities, including photo and video coverage.

Further details, including the final agenda and registration link, will be shared soon.
