Academic staff from the Lublin University of Technology, the Lead Partner of the RE-PUBLIC SPACES project, carried out scanning and drone surveys of a courtyard in Łódź, which will soon be subject to revitalisation activities within the RE-PUBLIC SPACES – Revitalisation of Public Spaces in Historic Cities project.
The application of modern surveying methods will enable the development of a precise digital model of the courtyard, reflecting its current spatial and technical condition. This digital model will provide an important analytical basis for further design and planning work, allowing for a detailed assessment of the site’s potential.
These activities are consistent with the RE-PUBLIC SPACES approach, which combines heritage protection, advanced digital tools, and preparation for future revitalisation processes in historic urban spaces.
