The Trickle Down event Up-date yourself – From old to new welcomed the general public in Košice Shopping center Aupark on 16 October 2025. At the event, we introduced the NiCE project and presented the Re-use centre, which was opened as part of our pilot activity. Visitors had the opportunity to learn more about its mission, services and its role in supporting circular practices in the region.
Following the introduction, participants joined a hands-on upcycling workshop, where they transformed old inflatable pools into new, functional items such as cosmetic bags. The activity showcased simple, creative ways to give materials a second life and reduce waste.
The event combined inspiration, practical skills, and environmental awareness — offering attendees concrete ideas on how small actions can support a more sustainable lifestyle.
