Business and Industrial Zones Mobility for better connectivity of peripheral areas

Rural business and industrial zones are key employers but lack sustainable, affordable transport, leaving staff dependent on private cars and driving up costs and emissions. BIZ Mobility aims to create greener commuting options. Partners in Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary co-design tailored mobility plans with companies and municipalities, appoint mobility coordinators, test funding models and cooperation agreements and run awareness campaigns. Pilot actions in all three countries show how walking, cycling, public transport and carpooling can be scaled up.
