Project overview
Smart Health Workforce Empowerment and Advancement in Lagging CE Areas for Future Healthcare Systems
Peripheral regions face shortages of general practitioners, ageing populations and long distances to specialised care, putting pressure on local health systems. TeleHealthAid aims to secure quality healthcare closer to home through telemedicine and smart specialisation. Partners in Austria, Germany and Hungary co-design digital tools and professional-to-professional cooperation models, test them in pilots and develop joint training and policy recommendations with local stakeholders. Shared experience makes the general practitioner role more attractive and improves care in remote communities.
