As part of the Interreg Central Europe LOCALIENCE project, a professional workshop entitled “The effects of extreme weather events, social cooperation in disaster prevention” was held on November 18 by the Vas County Disaster Management Directorate in Bükfürdő.
The aim of the workshop, which was brought to life with professional content, was to process the effects of extreme weather events, present the progress of the Localience project, and encourage the socialization of disaster management.
At the professional workshop, attendees listened to presentations by the lead partner, the head of the steering group, his deputy, and the project manager, as well as presentations by representatives of the civil protection, industrial safety, water damage prevention, and fire protection working groups. External speakers were also invited to the forum to provide insight into their research.
