As part of the foodCIRCUS project, workshops titled “The Agile Student – A GREEN FUTURE ON A PLATE” are being held in schools and preschools participating in the research.
During the workshops, educators talk with children about food – where it comes from, how it’s made, and what happens to it after it ends up (sadly) in the trash. Students explore ways to reduce food waste and care for the environment in their daily lives.
Practical experiences are also plentiful! Children participate in tastings, discover new flavors and aromas, and share their thoughts about food. The educators encourage conversation and reflection, demonstrating that each of us – even the youngest – has an impact on our world.
The “Agile Student” workshops are part of a scientific educational intervention implemented as part of the foodCIRCUS project.
Because a green future truly begins on a plate.
