The Austrian partners of the Food4CE project had the opportunity to participate in the “15. Niederösterreichischer Logistik Tag”, hosted by BVL Bundesvereinigung Logistik Österreich and Wirtschaftskammer Niederösterreich (WKNÖ) at Flughafen Wien – Vienna Airport. A major success at the most important regional event dedicated to logistics. Within the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme the project now aims at promoting the Knowledge Transfer Platform (KTP) and the Matchmaking Platform (MMP).

Throughout the day, the 🇦🇹 Austrian Innovation Hub partners engaged in insightful conversations with logistics experts and food producers, exploring synergies and discussing innovative approaches to strengthen regional food supply chains. During the breaks, the Food4CE stand served as a hub for information and exchange, sparking interest and dialogue around the project’s goals and activities – hosted by ECONSULT Gerda Hartmann and Jürgen Schrampf.

The occasion was taken to team up with the experts from project FOODIS Interreg Italia – Österreich 2021-2027. Professor Gerald Reiner from Vienna University of Economics and Business – WU (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien) gave insights on the actual developments and how to implement sustainable solutions in food logistics. This event was a perfect platform for Food4CE to connect with stakeholders, share our vision, and reinforce the importance of collaborative logistics for regional food systems.

A perfect start to the day with a perfect breakfast was provided by the Food4CE BEST PRACTICE company Hausbrot.at, that has established itself as a pioneer in the field of online ordering and food delivery. The products come exclusively from renowned regional suppliers, which guarantees both the quality and freshness of the goods. A big thank you to BVL and all participants for making this event a success!
