The Food4CE project announced the kick-off of the Transnational Innovation Hub (TIH), which took place online on 19 November 2025, from 09:00 to 10:30 (CET).
The Transnational Innovation Hub complemented the five Regional Innovation Hubs established within the project, acting as a collaborative platform for knowledge exchange and mutual support among participating countries. By connecting stakeholders from Central Europe, the TIH fostered cross-border cooperation, the sharing of best practices, and the co-creation of innovative solutions to strengthen Short Food Supply Chains and Alternative Food Networks (AFNs).
The kick-off meeting introduced the objectives and structure of the TIH, featuring contributions from all regional hubs:
- ORbITaLA Innovation Hub (Slovenia)
- Austrian Food Connective Innovation Hub (Austria)
- Localog Innovation Hub (Italy)
- PULS Innovation Hub (Poland)
- Food4Health Innovation Hub Budapest (Hungary)
The kick-off also provided an opportunity to share and discuss key lessons learned from the project, paving the way for further developments leveraging the Knowledge Transfer Platform and the Matchmaking Platform.
