The REDU-CE-D project, led by Dubrovnik Airport Ltd, has been featured in the Autumn 2025 issue of EU Research Magazine, a leading European publication dedicated to promoting the achievements of EU-funded research and innovation projects.

The article, titled “Transport sector moves to improve energy efficiency,” presents the project’s mission to develop and implement a customised Environmental Management System (EMS) designed to increase energy efficiency and reduce energy consumption across different transport modes in Central Europe. This initiative supports the broader goals of the European Green Deal and the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) by helping transport organisations adopt more sustainable and data-driven practices.

Through collaborative work among its partners, REDU-CE-D is building the foundation for a shared strategy and practical tools to monitor and improve energy performance within the air, waterway, urban, and rail transport sectors. The project’s EMS package will serve as a model for other organisations aiming to reduce their environmental footprint while enhancing operational efficiency.
