Veneto Agricoltura participated in Fieragricola TECH 2025, Italy’s premier agricultural innovation fair, with a strong focus on sustainability and digital transformation. Over two days, the agency hosted key events at its “Casa Veneto” stand and in the official Tech Forum. On January 29, the session “Innovation in Beekeeping” introduced new digital tools from the INTERREG BEE2GETHER project, including smart hives and mobile monitoring apps. The following day, the forum “How to Add Value to Agricultural By-products”, part of the TeBiCe (Interreg Central Europe) project, highlighted circular economy solutions for reusing agri-waste—especially from the wine and horticulture sectors. Key topics included the extraction of proteins and biostimulants, bioplastics production, and the introduction of the Value Chain Generator tool to support new agri-business models. The event featured expert speakers from academia and innovation networks and underscored the importance of precision farming, robotics, and biotech in modern agriculture.
