Between summer 2024 and summer 2025 we conducted a survey among residents in all our 4 project cities to identify and analyse residents’ preferences related to urban stream revitalization. The main aim was to determine what water features do people like, what changes are they willing to accept and how does it differ between specific groups of inhabitants.
About 1000 surveys were personally collected In Jablonec nad Nisou (CZ), Senica (SK), Dresden (DE) and Poznan (PL).
Preliminary outputs from the analysis of residents’ perspective to urban river revitalization were presented and discussed with Czech and Slovak academics during a workshop in Velké Karlovice (CZ) on August 4, 2025.
Experts from several Czech and Slovak research institutions provided us with valuable feedback on the results achieved so far and the methods used to present them.
The results from individual cities will be compiled into a national language studies, and a summary study comparing the results from all cities will also be produced.
