The conference provided an excellent opportunity to introduce the project’s objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes to a wider audience. The presentation highlighted how REDU-CE-D is developing a customised Environmental Management System (EMS) to support the transition towards more sustainable transport modes in Central Europe.
Particular attention was given to the project’s innovative approach of combining energy management practices, digitalisation, and mobility solutions. These elements are designed to deliver tangible benefits for transport operators, regional authorities, and stakeholders committed to reducing the sector’s environmental footprint.
Feedback from participants confirmed a strong interest in REDU-CE-D’s pilot activities and its potential to provide replicable solutions across different regions. The conference also allowed the consortium to connect with other EU-funded projects, paving the way for future synergies and collaborations.
We thank the organisers of the Vienna Conference for providing such a dynamic platform to share knowledge and exchange perspectives on the role of innovation in achieving greener transport systems.
