The next key step in the Central Mountains project will take place in the Krkonoše Mountains (Sudetes), where the Czech partner – Association of Regional Brands will organize a study visit focused on rural innovation, identity, and cooperative governance.
Participants will explore how the Krkonoše regional brand supports local producers and strengthens the image of the region, while also encouraging collaboration between public authorities and entrepreneurs.
The agenda will include visits to:
- Ekocentrum DOTEK – an educational and cultural centre promoting regional heritage and environmental awareness,
- Horni Mala Upa Municipality – where participants will observe cooperation models between local authorities and initiatives such as: Pivovar Trautenberk or Nadechni se.
On the second day, partners will discover how functional areas are being developed through cooperation between SMEs, farmers, and regional product networks. Visits will include: Farm BasaĹ™ovi, FarmářskĂ˝ DĹŻm – VrchlabĂ, Veteran Restaurant Car Club and KAFĂŤRNA Trutnov.
đź§ This visit will provide valuable inspiration for shaping transnational governance structures and regional branding strategies that promote sustainability and cooperation in other mountainous regions, such as the Carpathians and the Alps.
