Vite in Campo 2025: Digital Innovation Meets Sustainable Viticulture

In Person
Location: Susegana, Treviso, Italy
Date: 18.07.2025 - 19.07.2025

On July 18 and 19, 2025, the vineyards of Azienda Agricola Conte Collalto in Susegana (Treviso, Italy) will host the sixth edition of Vite in Campo, dedicated to sustainable and innovative viticulture. Organised by Condifesa TVB in collaboration with L’Informatore Agrario Edizioni.

The event is a prominent showcase of agricultural technologies applied directly in the field of Viticulture. Like Agri-Digital Growth, which works to strengthen digital skills and foster innovation ecosystems across Central Europe, Vite in Campo is rooted in the belief that the future of agriculture lies in the integration of smart technologies with sustainable practices. Visitors to the event will witness firsthand how robotics, precision farming, IoT systems, and decision support tools are transforming the vineyard into a hub of innovation and environmental stewardship.

The programme unfolds over two full days. On Friday afternoon, participants will take part in guided vineyard tours led by agricultural journalists and technical experts, with the goal of showcasing practical innovations already in use. This will be followed by an evening workshop hosted by the Municipality of Susegana, focusing on advanced tools for vine nutrition management in the context of climate change. On Saturday morning, the spotlight will shift to field demonstrations of machinery and drones, offering concrete examples of how automation and digital tools are being deployed to improve productivity and reduce environmental impact.

Throughout the event, several key topics will be addressed: the use of drones for crop protection and nutrient distribution, the integration of real-time sensor data into agronomic decision-making, and the role of artificial intelligence and robotics in vineyard management. These demonstrations may be inspirational for a broader cultural shift toward data-driven and sustainable agriculture.

Sustainability is the underlying thread of this year’s edition as the event aims to demonstrate that environmental awareness is not at odds with technological advancement. On the contrary, innovations such as DSS tools, automated pruning systems, and precision irrigation are proving essential in reducing the use of pesticides and water, preserving soil health, and increasing climate resilience. In fact, Vite in Campo offers a rare opportunity to engage directly with cutting-edge solutions and to network with innovators from across the agri-tech ecosystem. Much like Agri-Digital Growth, the event creates a space for regional actors to learn from one another, build strategic connections, and co-create smarter, greener farming systems.
